The Minivator 950 is a straight Stair Lift which is mounted on the treads and therefore does not require any modification of the Staircase. It has been designed with the help of occupational therapists.

The Stairlift is close to the wall and there is ample space for other users of the staircase to ascend and descend.

When the Stair Lift is not in use, the seat folds up and this reduces the space taken up even more.

The stairlift seat has levers on each side which enable the seat to turn at the top and bottom of the stairs, to aid getting on or off. This swivel facility can be powered where the user is frail.

The Stair Lift is operated by a battery which charges when the unit is not in use hence preventing problems during power cuts.

The Simplicity Stair Lift can be operated without difficulty. There is a large switch on the armrest that can be easily moved to make the Stair Lift move up and down, or stop. This switch can be on either arm. There is also a key which can be taken out to prevent unauthorised use by children, always a possibility!

The colour of the stairlift seat upholstery can also be customised to your requirements, with several colours being available - cocoa, ruby, sand, sapphire or slate. The upholstery is a wipe clean fabric so can be easily cleaned. The seat comes with a seat belt to ensure maximum safety.

The stairlift foot rest is covered with a hard wearing carpet fabric to ensure long service. This foot rest is flush to the landing and hence foot positioning is made easy.

If there is a landing at the top of the staircase then a platform can be fitted which means there is no problem in accessing the stairlift.

A perch seat can be installed if the stairs are particularly narrow, to maximise access. There is also a luxury seat available.

If space is at a premium at the bottom of the stairs then a folding track for the stairlift can be installed which means that access through doors is maintained.
